Went out for a late afternoon run today. It was nice and cool, and by the time I got back, it was just on dusk. A really nice time of day. I was listening to week 9 of C25k podcast, and had a 30 minute run to do. I felt pretty good when it had finished, so I thought I’d see how far I could go. Ended up stopping at 6km, which was done in just over 39 minutes. That’ll do, I’ll go back to 5km, just wanted to have a go. I was a bit sore in the knees after that effort, but I guess from a psychological point of view, I have no doubt I’ll get to 10km. I still remind myself that it wasn’t so long ago that I struggled so hard with doing 6o minute jogs and 90 minute walks in week 1. I don’t think there can be anything harder than that!!!
